Love them or hate them, draft grades are a part of the draft process in the media. So today I'm grading the first 3 picks made in the AFC North last night.

Steelers - Pick 14: OT Broderick Jones: A+

The Pittsburgh Steelers took Georgia offensive tackle Broderick Jones last night with the 14th overall pick after swapping picks with the New England Patriots last night. The 21-year-old rookie is most likely to replace Dan Moore Jr. at left tackle who was arguably the teams worst linemen with a 62.4 PFF Grade, recording 10 total penalties, and allowing 7 sacks. According to Mike DeFabo on Twitter, Broderick Jones in 32 games at Georgia (19 starts), Broderick Jones had exactly zero holding penalties and only one false start while allowing 0 sacks in 2022.

Ravens - Pick 22: WR Zay Flowers: A+

The Baltimore Ravens took wide receiver Zay Flowers with the 22nd over pick last night. Although Flowers was the third receiver taken off the board, it seems like Zay Flowers was the guy the Ravens wanted all along. Even with the Ravens signing Odell Beckham Jr., OBJ is only on a one-year deal along with the veteran receiver turning 31 mid-season. Although Zay Flowers’ size is a bit underwhelming, the Boston College receiver makes up for it with his quickness and speed. Flowers caught 12 receiving touchdowns in 2022, fifth-most for any FBS school.

Bengals - Pick 28: EDGE Myles Murphy: A

The Cincinnati Bengals took defensive end Myles Murphy with the 28th overall pick last night. The selection itself was perhaps a bit surprising, to say the least, but overall, it’s not a bad pick. The Cincinnati Bengals were ranked 29th at the bottom in sacks last year, so the need for pass rush help is overlooked for this team. Myles Murphy racked up 18.5 sacks and 36 tackles for loss in 35 games with the Clemson Tigers.
